Dollywood

We're just finishing up a mission trip to Newport, TN by having a fun day at Dollywood. This has been an interesting mission trip due to some very unusual weather. For the first two days of our backyard Bible clubs, we had snowy weather!!! I've been thrown some challenges over the years, but this one through me for a loop. God, however, had bigger plans. Yesterday, the weather was totally beautiful. During our vbs and block party, we saw 20 people come to know Christ... in one day. This on top of my son, Dillon accepting Christ on Sunday night during my gospel presentation will make this one of my favorite trips of all time. God is good.

DORY!!!

Well, we've gone and done what we said we would never do.  We got a dog.  Wendy and I had a dog for the first 8 years of our marriage and we loved it.  Our old friends will remember Tex.  We loved that dog.  When Dillon came along, however, we quickly realized how difficult it was to manage a dog and a baby.  That has scared us off from having a dog for a long time.
Recently, life has gotten a little easier when it comes to taking care of the youngins... they go to the bathroom by themselves now a days.  So, we thought we would lighten up and allow Dillon and Abby to experience the joys of having a dog.  Our choice was a maltipoo.  Her mom is a maltese and her dad is a poodle.  The poodle mix means less to no shedding.  That's a good thing.
All that to say... she is a cute dog... not very manly, but take a look and I think you'll agree.
