My friend Jamie over at See Jamie Blog was so kind to nominate me for the New Homeschool Blog Award over at this year's Homeschool Blog Awards. Unfortunately I don't qualify. Although I am personally a new blogger (and 1st year homeschooler), technically the blog is not new because I took over this blog in July of this year from my husband who had quit using it. We made the decision not to start a new blog because we loved being able to look back at the archives since the blog was started back in 2003 before my youngest was even born.
I did want to post this article because I am getting some traffic from this post and wanted to explain the reasons.
